Is there a monitor in there? Or is that a post it note stuck on the glass where he intends to PUT a montior someday?

I don’t get it. Dude built this cabinet from scratch. Did he NOT know how big of a monitor he was going to put in it? Did he have plans to have a truckload more controls to start with? Because 2 sticks & 3 buttons per player doesn’t need all that much room; and that Sony Watchman TV of a monitor certainly didn’t need a huge box. The whole thing wouldn’t look so odd if it was to scale.

Another thing that bothers me here is the arrangement of the buttons. Why do so many people insist on ‘creative’ redesigns of arcade standards. I never saw a single 3 button arcade game that put the buttons into some sort of mostly vertical arch. Maybe JJ wants to be able to jab player 2 in the ribs with his elbow while playing. There’s plenty of room here. Coulda done things normal, instead of ‘special’ (the short bus kind of special, not the good kind).

Did he really use the corner bracing you put on drywall to hold the marquee in, or is that the digital camera playing tricks on me?
